the cambells - a well known and very well of family, whose father has a big share of stocks. he has married and re-married once and has four children. two from each marriage. they don't have much power of the city but they are rich and that means they can buy everything, they don't need power. the tabloids love them.
the bourkes - very famous family in new york, mostly for their money and power. their children are always in the tabloids just like the cambell's. father and mother divorced after two years of marriage, they have a pretty big production company, both very rich and both re married once. the mother still kept the last name bourke because of the fame it has brought her.
the lesangs - more powerful than rich but still well of family. probably the only marriage that has been going strong for 20 years now. the father is a politician and the mother is the head editor of the new york times. they don't need money to get what they want, but they still love having it. the tabloids don't go too near them because of the consequences they might get.
the brooks - a family that owns a few shops, nothing too big. mother died in a car crash and father hasn't remarried yet. they live an average life, not getting too much attention. the father ran for the mayor position once, he gained quite the audience but wasn't enough to win. he still has some powerful friends in the government.
the westons - just a new york type of family. very busy parents, who we're never married and they split up after 10 years of relationship, now the father has a new love interest, a man. they have 3 biological children and one adopted by the father and his partner. they live a simple yet busy life.
the wells - one child fathered by an unknown man, the mother than found herself a girlfriend and they've adopted two more children. the mother works as a bridal shop assistant and her partner works as a secretary in a lawyer firm. very bad relationship between the two. the mother cheats on her girlfriend with her boss.
the griffins - once a very rich family, got their money trough scams and the father now serves 7 years in jail for political treason. the father was a politician and he stole from the city taxes and he sold information to other countries. the mother is still investigated by the secret police for a death of a fellow politician. the family is often in tabloids and they barley live by.
the beyins - a single parent family. the mother takes care of three children gets little to none money from the father, who is the lesangs father and he pays them enough to keep them a secret. the mother doesn't work they just live on by what the father pays them. he pays their rent and sends money for food and clothes. the mother still is the secret girlfriend of the lesangs father. the children know this but they are not allowed to say anything.
the blackchers - 4 adopted kids by a couple who cannot have children sadly. they barley live on because they have 6 mouths to feed and the mother works as a teacher and the father as a swimming trainer. the salary is not that high but they have enough money to pay rent, eat and buy clothes. they are a simple family.
